WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR TODAY?
The question all humans have asked themselves every morning for centuries! As a designer, I find that there are so many intellectuals that are quite ignorant in regards to the importance of Art, Culture and Design. They feel that the study of design is quite a frivolous endeavor. They seem to take for granted that all goods both tangible and intangible are designed. It is the fundamental understanding of esthetics, function and form that generates the products and technology relevant to an evolving global society.
I think it is imperative that we educate, inspire, and nurture our creative children. It is our obligation to pass on the knowledge, skills, and life experiences to inspiring designers, so they may keep all economic industries alive.
No industry can survive, thrive, evolve, or even exist if it were not for the creative mind...

DA' VID MONTOYA
A nationally recognized Fashion and Interior Designer with over 20 years in the fashion Industry, Da'vid Montoya has worked with the nations top design professionals, celebrities and socialites. His work and creations have appeared in numerous stage productions, motion pictures, fashion and interior design publications.
Known for his seamless transition from couture apparel to interior design, Montoya started designing clothing at the age of ten. He went on to study fashion design at Virginia Commonwealth University and The Lorenzo Di' Medici School of Arts In Florence Italy. Currently Montoya is a professor in the Department of Fashion Design and Merchandising at Virginia Commonwealth University and an instructor in the Textiles, Apparel and Merchandise Management Department at Virginia State University, while continuing to operate two luxury design ventures, SANG BLEU and its subsidiary IMAGE. Montoya is the complete package. He is a creative and innovative professional with a collaborative attitude and team player. A self- professed dedicated perfectionist with a meticulous attention to detail. a strong work ethic and an awe inspiring style.
